Tanevo
IndustriesMedical and therapy practices

More room at the desk, no medical advice by phone

Tanevo turns appointment requests, rescheduling and prescriptions into tickets. It does not answer questions about results or dosage.

Every request

a ticket

Example · translated from German

Hello, Mia from Praxis Muster, an artificial intelligence, this call is recorded. How can I help?

I need to move my appointment on Tuesday, Thursday or Friday afternoon would suit.

I've noted that. The practice will get back to you by tomorrow with the new time.

Calls

What it takes down for you

It records the preferred day, time and reason. Your team confirms the appointment; booking into the practice software is not available yet.

It records which prescription is requested. On dosage or side effects it gives no information and creates a callback ticket instead.

“Is that serious?”: a fixed block catches typical questions like this. It does not answer and creates a callback ticket.

How it works

How a call to your practice works

You forward your number when busy or unanswered after 20 seconds.

First: an AI speaks, the call is recorded. Can be switched off.

One question at a time. “Is that serious?” gets a callback instead.

You choose the fields. With a promise set, it names the day.

With the caller's words, due on the promised or next working day.

New patients

Ticket with name, number and a request for the waiting list.

Also

What else it handles

The agent passes on what your fact sheet says: new patients or waiting list. It takes name and number.

A day in your practice

Example · translated from German

  • 07:55Back pain since yesterday, a patient wants to come in today.
  • 08:20A patient wants a repeat prescription for her blood pressure medication.
  • 10:40“My reading was high, is that serious?”
  • 12:15Whether the practice is open during the autumn holidays.
  • 18:40Someone needs to move tomorrow morning's appointment.
  • 07:55→ Records name, number and “today”. Whether that works is up to your team.
  • 08:20→ Records prescription, name and callback number. No information on dosage or side effects.
  • 10:40→ Looks for no answer, not even in your documents. Creates a callback ticket.
  • 12:15→ Answers from the fact sheet. If nothing is there, it records the question.
  • 18:40→ Records old slot and preferred new time. The ticket waits in the morning.

Answering machine and morning rush versus Tanevo

  • Between 8 and 9 the line is busy, patients keep trying.

  • Outside phone hours a recording says: “Please call again later.”

  • The medical assistant stops taking blood to answer the phone.

  • The same questions about holidays, parking and lab hours, every day.

Setting it up for your practice

On top of the fixed blocks, you store what applies to your practice.

Your systems

What works today and what doesn't. Practices can use Tanevo only after the legal review.

What the agent never does

  • Makes no diagnosis, gives no dosage. The fixed block catches typical questions, not all.

  • Recognises emergency signs by fixed words and a check question, not every description.

  • Sees neither medical records nor diary and books nothing into the practice software.

  • Never pretends to be a person.

Frequently asked questions

A fixed block catches questions like “Is that serious?” or “What dose?” before the agent searches. It does not answer and creates a callback ticket with the caller's words. For other wording, only what you have stored applies, plus your topics to avoid.

For chest pain, breathlessness or unconsciousness, the agent gives 144 and connects as in an emergency, first to your on-call number. Without a connection the caller hears 144 and that it has been noted as urgent; the ticket is urgent.

Calls, tickets and patient details are in a database in Zurich. Speech and telephony currently run through ElevenLabs, OpenAI and Twilio in the USA; none of them has a European data region set up. For health data that matters, hence the review before launch.

Whether and under which contracts Tanevo may act on the practice's behalf is part of the legal review before the first launch. We make no promise on it before then.

After the call it notes what the caller said, with a quote. You see and delete every entry in the customer profile. The analysis is told not to keep health details; nothing blocks it technically yet. Without changes, the memory is cleared after three years.

Nothing in Tanevo's code uses call data for training; contractually this holds once the data processing agreement is approved. Tanevo opted out of training at ElevenLabs on 30 September 2026, effective once processed; for OpenAI no contract confirms it yet.
