Tanevo on the phone
Set up your business and call your own agent (it speaks German)
Every request
a ticket
Hello, Lea from Muster Haustechnik, an artificial intelligence, this call is recorded. How can I help?
Water is pouring out of a pipe in our basement and it won't stop.
That sounds urgent, I'm putting you through right away. Please stay on the line.
Emergencies with danger
Urgent ticket with callback number and the caller's words; call forwarded.
What it takes down for you
Leaking water, gas smell, electric shock: straight through to your on-call mobile, even at night. No number set: 118 and 144.
Kitchen power out, heating off: annoying, but not an emergency. It records the fault and wakes nobody.
Bathroom refit, heat pump, charging station: it records the request, one question at a time. It only quotes prices you have stored.
How a call works for you
No answer within 20 seconds, or busy: the call goes to Tanevo.
“Hello, Lea from Muster Haustechnik, an artificial intelligence, this call is recorded.”
What it is about, then only the details you require.
Danger: straight to the on-call mobile. Otherwise, if set, a callback day.
With contact, priority, due date and the caller's words. You call back.
Of course. When would suit you?
Ideally next Tuesday morning.
Tuesday 6 October, in the morning: I can't confirm that on the phone yet. I'll note it as your preference.
Servicing and inspections
Ticket with requested slot, property and contact; you confirm the appointment yourself.
What else it handles
Electrical safety checks, heating service, boiler descaling: with Google Calendar it books directly; without, it records the requested slot, as here.

Voicemail versus Tanevo
On the voicemail: “Call me back”, no number, no address.
Water leaking on Saturday night, the customer rings the next plumber.
The callback note is in the van, nobody owns it.
“We'll get back to you” means some day.

What the agent never does
Never promises a price or quote you haven't stored.
Gives no repair instructions or safety advice. If there is danger, it gives 118.
Never promises when a fitter will arrive. That is your call.
Never pretends to be a person.
Frequently asked questions
Fire, smoke, burning or gas smell, leaking water, an injury or an electric shock. A power cut or heating failure without danger is no emergency; it becomes a ticket, without ringing you. If the power is out or the caller presses, it gets high priority.
The on-call number you set, around the clock. Without one it uses your forwarding number. If no number is set at all, it gives 118 and 144 and creates an urgent ticket.
You decide: never, always, or only during opening hours. The default is “only during opening hours”. At 11 pm the agent records the request as a ticket.
A day, counted in your working days, for example “by Monday”. So on a Friday evening it won't promise a Saturday. If you don't set a promise, it doesn't give one.
No. Customers keep dialling your number. You only forward when you don't answer or the line is busy; on a mobile that takes a short code. When you can pick up, you answer yourself.
Yes, if you connect your Google Calendar: it offers up to two free times and, after the caller says yes, enters the appointment in a separate calendar “Tanevo – Termine”. Without a calendar it records the requested slot, and you confirm it.
